Founder of Daneshfar Aesthetics, ACPSC and TPSI, Previous Medical Director
Dr. BJ Daneshfar served as the Medical Director and CEO of ACPSC, TPSI, and Daneshfar Aesthetics until 2023. He graduated from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, MO, with degrees in Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Physics Sciences, where he graduated with honors. His studies also included Electronics, Biophysics, Transistor Transistor Logics (TTL), and auto mechanics. He then attended the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri, graduating with distinctive honors. Dr. Daneshfar continued with residency training in anesthesiology at the University of Missouri Medical Center and the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Columbia, Missouri. In 1986, he joined the U.S. Air Force Medical Corps and directed departments at the pain clinic at Wilford Hall U.S. Air Force Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, and also served as a Medical Director of the Dannemiller Pain Clinic.
In 1990, Dr. Daneshfar embarked on opening the first pain management clinic at Northwest Texas Healthcare Systems in Amarillo, Texas. He served as Director of the Department of Anesthesia at Northwest Texas Healthcare Systems until 1996. He actively served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of the Texas Anesthesia Group PA, Texas Anesthesiology Group PA, Steam Boat Medical Developments, and the New Horizons Physician Practice Management Inc. in Amarillo, Texas. In 1997, he founded Acute & Chronic Pain & Spine Center and its sister company, Texas Pain and Spine Institute. Dr. Daneshfar established one of the first Ambulatory Surgical Centers for Pain in 2001 and took great pride in overseeing both the clinic and the Ambulatory Surgery Center.
In 2021, Dr. Daneshfar founded the Daneshfar Aesthetics Center. He was a dedicated and compassionate healthcare provider. A proud healer with unwavering commitment and servitude to his patients and team. Dr. Daneshfar always nurtured an environment where all patients were treated as family and no double standards of care could exist.
Outside of his passion as a healthcare provider, he spent most of his time reading the Word, with his family, ranching, and practicing medicine. Dr. Daneshfar was an instrument of the Almighty. Devout and fearless in the glory of his Elohim, he sought to encourage and inspire others hope and obedience in the Almighty. He was Kingdom-minded, seeking prayer and guidance in all things. He could be found praying for healing over each patient that came into his practice. His faith was deeply woven into the way he observed his responsibility as a healthcare provider. An exuberant and bright provider to work with, he took great pride in his team of devoted providers, often calling his staff members, “Sister.”
Dr. Daneshfar was highly respected among providers throughout the Panhandle and West Texas Region for his clinical expertise and his compassion in providing profound care. Dr. Daneshfar served as the Medical Director of the Acute and Chronic Pain Management Center from 1996 to 2023. He founded the Texas Pain & Spine Institute (TPSI) and the Acute & Chronic Pain & Spine Center (ACPSC), overseeing both the clinic and the Ambulatory Surgery Center. Dr. Daneshfar’s passionate dedication to his patients will be dearly missed, but his spirit lives on in each practice.
