Jeff Josma, M.D.

Dr. Jeff Josma is a highly accomplished anesthesiologist and pain specialist who joined Daneshfar Aesthetics over a year ago. A native New Yorker who grew up in Long Island, Dr. Josma first moved to West Texas in 2018. Dr. Josma attended the highly competitive Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at CUNY – The City College of New York. Dr. Josma completed his Graduate Medical Education in the United States at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. Matching into the Stony Brook University Hospital anesthesiology residency program, he completed a hybrid surgical internship at Stony Brook University Hospital and Northport VA Medical Center.

During his residency, Dr. Josma underwent rigorous training in all aspects of anesthesiology, including preoperative evaluation, intra-operative management, postoperative care, and all anesthetic sub-specialties (cardiac, critical care, pediatric, regional, trauma, etc.). It was during his residency that Dr. Josma developed a passion for pain management. He was awarded Resident Teacher of the Year and presented at several national conferences.

Throughout his residency, Dr. Josma worked closely with his surgical counterparts, specifically alongside plastic surgeons within their clinics and surgical facilities. Dr. Josma matched at the prestigious pain fellowship at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, under the tutelage of world-renowned Treweek/Racz Endowed Professor Miles Day, further honing his expertise as a specialist. Dr. Josma has a genuine interest in regenerative medicine and utilizes these principles, along with his training, to promote healing in the fields of pain management and aesthetics.

Through divine intervention, Dr. Daneshfar and Dr. Josma’s paths crossed. In August 2023, Dr. Daneshfar appointed Dr. Josma as the new Medical Director of Daneshfar Aesthetics, Acute and Chronic Pain and Spine Center and Texas Pain and Spine Institute; to continue serving the medical community in his stead. Dr. Josma is dedicated to delivering exceptional cosmetic results, ensuring you feel confident and comfortable in your own skin.
